GABRIEL GULIAN was born in Montevideo-Uruguay in the year 1963.Son of an Armenian descendent family, he has the heritage of the mixture between latin popular music and the armenians chants.
During the seventies ,while the country was involved in a unfortunate militar dictatorship,he received the firsts guitar lessons with Angela Rodizio,who teached him , above all, the latin american clasical repertoire.
Early in the eighties, Gabriel begins to learn drums with the great drummer ROBERTO GALLETTI, who teachs him the spectrum of the black grooves of the afro-american rhythms.Candombe( the black uruguayan rhythm), Bossa-Nova, Samba,among others,will be the base of the future musical construction.
In 1985, Gulian causes his self exile travelling to Spain, where he begins to develope his career.
Based in Vitoria( Basque country) in 1987 he joines the tropical reagge band POTATO with who he records two albums:
ERRE QUE ERRE(ohiuka 1990),Crónicas de Puerto Sinmás(ohiuka-1992).
Performing as guitarrist,singer and composer of plenty of songs,he has the oportunity to share stage with greats stars of the reagge spectrum as,The Wailers,Culture, Israel Vibration, among others.
In 1993 he decides to move to Amsterdam, where he has contact with uruguayan musicians , also living in the exile, and works as bassist in different pubs of the city.
In 1995,again in Spain, now in San SEbastian,he joins the salsa group TUMBAITO, as bassist,under the tutory of the american musician Karl Pipkin.
In the same year ,he begins to build his own project,with the catalan guitarrist Arturo Blasco, who had worked in Potato also,creating the band BARRACA SELVA,performing his own music,based in the uruguayan candombe, the brazilian rhythms and the roots of the latin american music.
In 1999,Madrid,the group records in MADRID, its first album named TABULANDIA with greatest musicians as PANCHO AMAT,JULIO ANDRADE,GUILLERMO MC GUILL,JAVIER COLINA and ANDRES BEDO,among others.

During 1999 and 2000,the band tours all along Spain,succesfully.
In 2002 , Gulian decided to finish the band,and began his soloist career,travelling to Paris to work with the producer PAJARO CANZANI, in his new album NADIE SABE NADA.
Born in the next year ,the album is edited by himself in his own label called KLANIAN RECORDS.

As soloist, he begins the make gigs with his guitar and samplers,performing in Spain,France and Austria.
Five years of gigs with no new record sessions,in 2008, in San Sebastian-Spain,appears a new album,musically producted by himself called RETROPROGRESIVO,with musicians of the Basque country.
IN 2009 , trip to CURITIBA BRAZIL, where he makes gigs with brazilian musicians,performing also a repertoire of Bossa nova and Samba covers.
In 2010, returns to Murcia-Spain where he present his show of covers called BOSSA AND SOUL, working in different hotels and lounge restaurant of the spanish coast. In the winter of 2013, works in LANZAROTE (Canary Islands) in the 5 stars L Princesa Yaiza Hotel, in the Piano Bar,Rubicon hotel and BLUE NOTE JAZZ BAR as a guitar & voice´s jazz & blues entertainer. Then , installed in Brazil, again, during 2015 until 2021, he makes lots of gigs as a supporting musician of Rogerio Franzini circus traveling all around the country, sharing live shows with the best musicians of Brazil. During this period , he recorded his last performace till now named EL ENTUSIASMO SUBLIME,still not edited.

AIRBAG (1997-Juanma Bajo ULLOa) featuring as singer and percussionist.
DOÑA BARBARA( 1998- BETTY KAPLAN) as percussionist
COSAS QUE HACEN QUE LA VIDA VALGA LA PENA (2004- MANUEL GOMEZ PEREIRA) performing his own song TRANSPARENTE, also included in
